NoSpamProxy launches Version 16 of its email security server
NoSpamProxy, the German developer of an email‑security suite, announced the immediate availability of NoSpamProxy Server version 16. The release, issued on 30 July 2026 from Paderborn, introduces a migration to Microsoft’s .NET 9 platform, integration of OpenTelemetry, and considerably improved MIME‑type detection. New options also extend handling of messages that fail DMARC checks, and the product replaces NTLM‑based authentication with Basic Authentication for better compatibility with upcoming Windows security updates.
The company says the .NET 9 foundation will boost performance, memory management and future flexibility, including plans for Linux support and container‑based deployments. NoSpamProxy will follow Microsoft’s annual release cadence to stay on a current framework. Stefan Cink, Director of Business and Professional Services at NoSpamProxy, noted that the upgrade “creates the basis for the next development stage of NoSpamProxy, delivering higher performance and long‑term flexibility to our customers.”
