Notaría Pública 104 attacked with incendiary devices in León

An incendiary attack targeted Notaría Pública 104 in the Jardines del Moral neighborhood of León on Tuesday night. Two individuals dressed in black arrived in a vehicle and threw glass incendiary devices, known as Molotov cocktails, into the parking area, causing a fire.

Local authorities reported that the incident resulted in minimal damage and no injuries. While one employee suggested the act might have been simple vandalism and noted that the office received no prior threats, Jorge Guillén Rico, the Secretary of Public Security in León, stated that preliminary information suggests the attack may have stemmed from a disagreement involving a worker at the notary office.

The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has launched an investigation, utilizing security camera footage to identify the perpetrators. No arrests have been made at this time.
