Nothing announces launch of budget Phone (4b) smartphone
London‑based tech company Nothing said it will hold the official unveiling of its new Phone (4b) on Tuesday, 7 July. The handset will be the first in the firm’s “b” series and is aimed at the entry‑level market, offering a lower price than previous models. A preview image shows the brand’s signature transparent back but with a single rear camera, signalling a simplification to keep costs down. Nothing’s CEO explained that rising memory prices are forcing manufacturers to cut specifications, and the Phone (4b) may replace the planned CMF Phone 2 Pro as the company’s affordable offering. No details on processor, memory, battery capacity or pricing have been released yet.
