Nothing But Thieves release new single ahead of fifth album

The rock band Nothing But Thieves has released a new single titled "Baby Kool (Evelyn)" ahead of their fifth studio album, "Stray Dogs," which is scheduled for release on September 25 under RCA/Sony Music.

The new track features a 1990s grunge and indie rock aesthetic, drawing inspiration from bands such as Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and Pixies. The song, which received a world radio premiere on BBC Radio 1's "Hottest Record," showcases vocalist Conor Mason's range and transitions between varying levels of intensity.

The upcoming album was recorded at Angelic Studios, where the band recorded their debut. The group spent five months working collaboratively on the material to create what they describe as their most cohesive work to date. The album's themes explore community, belonging, and the experiences of outsiders.

Additionally, the band has announced a concert at the Atlas Arena in Łódź, scheduled for January 21, 2027.
