Nothing But Thieves releases fifth studio album ‘Stray Dogs’

British rock band Nothing But Thieves has released their fifth studio album, titled ‘Stray Dogs’, on September 25, 2026. The band returned to Angelic Studios, the location where they recorded their debut album over a decade ago, to pursue a more direct and instinctive recording process.

Produced by band guitarist Dom Craik and engineered by Mark Rankin, the 12-track album explores themes of community and belonging, using the metaphor of ‘stray dogs’ to represent the outsider community connected by their music. The record features a variety of musical directions, ranging from heavy guitar riffs and muscular rock to experimental elements, grunge influences, and introspective melodies.

Preceding the album release were several singles, including ‘Evolution’, ‘Stray Dogs’, ‘Baby Kool (Evelyn)’, and ‘A Different Kind of Happiness’. To support the new material, the band will embark on ‘The Stray Dogs Tour’, which includes a scheduled performance in Italy on January 24.
