Nothing launches CMF Clip Pro open‑ear earbuds with 10‑hour battery
Nothing’s CMF sub‑brand introduced the CMF Clip Pro, its first open‑ear true‑wireless earbuds. The lightweight 5.9 g units clip onto the ear with a three‑point titanium C‑bridge, offering an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. They feature 10.8 mm dual‑magnet drivers, Ultra Bass technology, Hi‑Res Audio certification and support for LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. Battery life reaches up to 10 hours per charge and 32.5 hours with the charging case; a 10‑minute quick charge adds about four hours of playback.
The earbuds are sold in Dark Grey, Light Grey and Coral, priced at £79 in the UK and $99 in the US, with a September rollout for other markets. Availability begins 15 August in the United Kingdom, United States and Japan, followed by a global release on 15 September. Additional features include four HD microphones with Clear Voice technology, a configurable Sound Seal to limit audio leakage, Bluetooth 5.4 dual‑device connectivity, low‑latency mode for gaming, and a Smart Dial on the case for volume and playback control.
Marketing for the Clip Pro has drawn criticism for using AI‑generated images of people, prompting backlash online. Nothing has not publicly responded to the controversy.
