Nothing launches Headphone (1) Pro with triple-driver audio

Nothing has released the Headphone (1) Pro, a premium over-ear headphone designed to bridge the gap between consumer listening and studio use. The device features a triple-driver architecture consisting of a 40mm bass driver, a precision mid-range driver, and an xMEMS tweeter, covering a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40,000 Hz.

Key technical features include adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) utilizing ten microphones to provide up to 46 dB of reduction, Bluetooth 6.1 support with LDAC, and lossless audio playback via USB-C up to 24-bit/192 kHz. A notable hardware addition is the ‘Flat EQ’ switch, which allows users to instantly bypass processing for a neutral sound profile, a feature aimed at content creators and producers.

While the audio performance and driver integration have received praise, the included hard-shell carrying case has faced criticism. Reviewers noted that the case is heavier than the headphones themselves and lacks a cutout for the USB-C charging port, requiring users to remove the device to charge it. The headphones are priced at approximately $399 in the US and around 349 to 370 euros in Germany.
