Nothing unveils design and July 7 launch date for budget Phone (4b)

London‑based smartphone maker Nothing has released official images of its upcoming budget model, the Phone (4b), confirming a launch event on 7 July 2026. The device adopts an opaque rear panel in a light‑blue finish, retains the brand’s Glyph Bar light strip, and introduces a vertical dual‑camera module. Technical leaks indicate a 6.7‑inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and a 5 400 mAh battery. Pricing is expected to sit below the current Phone (4a) lineup, targeting the mid‑range market.

The announcement follows the cancellation of the CMF Phone 3 Pro, with Nothing positioning the Phone (4b) as the first model of a new affordable series under the main brand. The launch will be streamed from Malaysia, and the company aims to broaden its user base while maintaining its distinctive design language.
