Nothing Phone (4b) review: strong battery but limited brightness
The Nothing Phone (4b) is the most affordable entry-level model in Nothing's smartphone lineup, featuring the company's signature design language and a smaller version of the Glyph Bar.
Technical tests reveal that while the device features a large 120 Hz AMOLED screen, it failed to reach the advertised 2,000 nits of brightness, peaking at 1,160 cd/m². The dual camera system includes a main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) but lacks a telephoto lens and performs poorly in low-light conditions.
Storage is limited to 128 GB in certain markets like Germany, and the device does not support microSD cards. However, the phone excels in battery performance, utilizing a 5,200 mAh battery that offers long usage times and is rated for 1,400 charging cycles. A larger 6,000 mAh battery variant is available exclusively in the Indian market.
