Nothing announces Phone (4b) smartphone launch in Japan

Nothing has announced the launch of its new mid-range smartphone, the Phone (4b), in the Japanese market. Pre-orders began on October 20, with the official release scheduled for October 27. The device is priced at 59,800 yen through official channels, though various retailers like Rakuten Mobile and IIJmio are offering specific promotions and exclusive color options.

The Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. It includes Nothing’s signature transparent design around the camera area and an enhanced Glyph Interface with 45 mini-LEDs for visual notifications.

Key specifications include a 5,200mAh battery—the largest in the brand's history—and a dual-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Japanese model is localized with FeliCa support for mobile payments, eSIM capability, and IP64 dust and water resistance.
