Noto, Sicily launches 2026 NotoArte Festival and schedules Raf concert

The NotoArte Festival returns for its 2026 edition, transforming the historic centre of Noto into Sicily’s largest open‑air gallery. The festival, founded in 2003, is artistically directed by Cristina Cataneo and Vincenzo Medica and opened on 8 August with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony. Dozens of artists—including Caterina Aidala, Gianni Andolina, and Jeff Willis—exhibit works along Via Blandini and the Palchetto della Musica.

Two days later, on 10 August, the city will host a concert by Italian singer‑songwriter Raf in Piazza Municipio, part of the summer NotOn programme that previously featured performances by Aka 7even and LDA. The event is expected to draw audiences of all ages under the night sky of San Lorenzo.
