Notodden: Person struck by train

Emergency services responded to Tinnegrendvegen in Notodden on Wednesday evening following reports that a person had been struck by a train. The train was brought to a halt at the scene. Police stated that the extent of the injuries and the cause of the accident were unknown during the initial report.

In a separate incident on Thursday afternoon, a car with two occupants went off the road at Follsjøvegen in Notodden. Both individuals were able to walk and received medical attention.
