Notre-Dame de Paris musical opens in Olbia with four August shows

The musical Notre‑Dam​e de Paris, created by Riccardo Cocciante and featuring veteran cast members such as Giò Di Tonno, will be staged at the Molo Brin waterfront in Olbia, Sardinia, from 5 to 8 August. The event marks the first time the production has performed in the city and is expected to draw around 4,000 spectators per night, involving roughly 80 artists, technicians and staff.

Local officials, including mayor Settimo Nizzi and event commissioner Marco Balata, highlighted the show’s potential to boost Olbia’s cultural profile and tourism. The current Italian tour has already logged more than 200 performances and sold over 400,000 tickets, with the production largely retaining the original music and storyline based on Victor Hugo’s novel, while making minor updates to scenery and choreography.
