Notre Dame Fighting Irish maintain 14-game unbeaten streak

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish enter October with a 14-game unbeaten run, having finished September without a loss. Following a dominant 49-10 victory over Purdue, where the defense contributed a touchdown via a Drayk Bowen fumble recovery, the team is preparing for an upcoming matchup in ACC territory.

Notre Dame’s strength of schedule is receiving renewed attention due to the unexpected performance of the Wisconsin Badgers. Although Notre Dame defeated Wisconsin 41-13 earlier in the season, the Badgers' subsequent success—including a victory over Penn State—has bolstered the Irish's resume for the College Football Playoff by validating their early-season wins.
