Notre Dame prepares for Navy matchup following loss to BYU

No. 5 Notre Dame seeks to rebound from a controversial loss to No. 8 BYU as they prepare to face Navy at Gillette Stadium. Following a bye week, the Fighting Irish (6-1) aim to regain momentum in a neutral site matchup.

Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman emphasized the importance of learning from recent shortcomings rather than simply moving past them. The Irish hold an eight-game winning streak in the series against Navy, who currently holds a 2-5 record.

Navy enters the game with a strong rushing attack, ranking third nationally with an average of 307.7 yards per game. The Midshipmen are looking to recover from recent American Conference losses to Texas-San Antonio and North Texas.
