Notting Hill film location house goes on sale in London
The residence on Westbourne Park Road in London, famous as the setting for the 1999 film ‘Notting Hill’, has been placed on the market for £7.95 million. The property is widely recognized by tourists due to its iconic blue door.
Originally a Baptist chapel, the converted home features high ceilings, large windows, and approximately 279 square meters of living space. The interior includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and living area, a library studio, a private courtyard, and a rooftop terrace.
The house was previously owned by the film’s screenwriter, Richard Curtis. The original 19th-century pine door was auctioned at Christie’s in 1999 for charitable purposes due to the high volume of tourists visiting the site. The current owner, entrepreneur Neil Hutchinson, has restored the blue color to the replacement door.
