Nottingham Forest completes targeted summer transfer window

Nottingham Forest has completed a targeted summer transfer window, securing several key players requested by manager Oliver Glasner. The club made significant investments, including £22m for Daniel Munoz, a potential £50m deal for Liam Delap, and £34m for Ousmane Diomande. Additionally, Xaver Schlager and goalkeeper Steven Benda joined the squad on free transfers.

While some supporters expressed concerns regarding squad depth, the new signings appear specifically tailored to Glasner’s preferred 3-5-2 formation. The club also opted to retain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo despite interest from Eintracht Frankfurt. Reports indicate that a move for Kalimuendo was never close to fruition, as Nottingham Forest demanded more than £30 million, and Glasner intends to keep him as an attacking option.
