Nottingham Forest increases bid for Fiorentina defender Dodô

Nottingham Forest has increased its transfer bid for Fiorentina full-back Dodô. Following the rejection of an initial €7 million offer earlier this week, the Premier League club has submitted a new proposal worth €9 million in fixed fees, plus up to €2 million in potential bonuses.

Fiorentina has reportedly indicated they are seeking offers starting at €10 million to release the 27-year-old Brazilian defender. Because Dodô has only 12 months remaining on his current contract, negotiations are focused on a permanent transfer rather than a loan agreement.

Dodô is currently in his fifth season with the Italian club, having joined from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022. He has made 163 appearances for Fiorentina across all competitions, including 114 in Serie A, and was part of the squad that reached the UEFA Conference League finals in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
