Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner sets pre‑season camp, injury updates and transfer targets

Oliver Glasner, the Austrian coach who left Crystal Palace, signed a three‑year contract with Nottingham Forest and is preparing the squad for a 12‑day pre‑season training camp in Portugal. Ahead of the camp he confirmed that midfielder Xaver Schlager is close to joining on a free transfer and that the club may also bid for Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Bergvall.

Glasner gave an injury update, saying centre‑back Murillo (hamstring) and full‑back Nicolo Savona (knee) are progressing with rehabilitation, while striker Callum Hudson‑Odoi is expected to return soon. He also welcomed back Chris Wood and Ibrahim Sangaré after their World Cup duties.

Transfer rumours include a stalled move for Fiorentina defender Dodo, with Roma now in the race for the Brazilian left‑back, and the club’s continued search for a new full‑back to complement Murillo and Milenković.
