Nottingham Forest reshapes attack with Liam Delap signing

Nottingham Forest has undergone significant changes to its attacking lineup following the record-breaking signing of Liam Delap. The 23-year-old striker joined from Chelsea in a deal worth an initial £45 million, potentially rising to £50 million with add-ons. Manager Oliver Glasner described Delap as the ‘perfect player’ for the club, noting his physicality, pace, and ability to run in behind defenses.

As a result of this major acquisition, veteran striker Chris Wood has seen his standing within the squad diminish. The 34-year-old New Zealand international is reportedly being considered for sale to balance the club's recent expenditures. West Ham United has expressed serious interest in Wood, seeking an experienced striker with proven Premier League credentials. Other clubs monitoring his situation include Leeds United, Olympiakos, and Beşiktaş.

In addition to these striker movements, Nottingham Forest is reportedly pursuing Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz with a £22 million bid to strengthen their wing-back positions.
