Nottingham Forest prepares Portugal pre‑season tour amid transfer rumours

Nottingham Forest has organised a 12‑day pre‑season camp in Portugal, during which the club will play three friendlies – against Blackburn Rovers on 22 July, Vitória de Guimarães on 26 July (behind closed doors) and Sporting Lisbon on 31 July. The matches are intended to build squad unity and readiness ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season, which starts with a home game against Leeds United on 22 August.

At the same time, the club is linked with several transfer moves. Serie A side Inter Milan are reported to be interested in signing forward Dan Ndoye, who struggled at Forest after a £34 million fee last summer. Forest are also considering a £14 million deal for Brazilian goalkeeper Otávio from Cruzeiro, though critics warn against repeating past failed Brazilian signings.
