Notts County to host Sheffield Wednesday in League One clash

Notts County will host Sheffield Wednesday at Meadow Lane on Tuesday in a League One matchup featuring teams at opposite ends of the table.

Notts County, led by head coach Martin Paterson, currently sits 23rd in the standings. Following their promotion to the third tier, the club has struggled to adapt, securing only one win in their first nine matches. The team is facing difficulties in front of goal, having scored only once in their last four league outings and recently suffering a 2-0 defeat against Wycombe Wanderers.

In contrast, Sheffield Wednesday occupies 6th place and is aiming for a top-two position. The Owls enter the fixture following a dominant 5-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon, a performance that included two goals from Davis Keillor-Dunn. Having moved past previous financial difficulties and administration, the club is currently in a strong position to challenge for promotion.
