Nou Hau series explores professional crafts and labor market shifts

The new series Nou Hau explores various professions and the behind-the-scenes reality of different jobs. Produced by Marek Valovčin and directed by Michal Pusztay, the project aims to provide a complex look at production and professional expertise through both television episodes and podcasts.

During the production of the first episode at an airport, the creators noted the importance of thorough research and interacting with real employees to avoid misconceptions. The project arrives during a period of labor market shifts in Slovakia, as the country transitions from a manufacturing hub toward more specialized workplaces, facing a shortage of over 70,000 skilled workers.
