Nova Cinema to premiere crime drama Infiltrator

Nova Cinema will host the television premiere of the crime drama ‘Infiltrator’ on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 22:40. The film is based on the true story of American customs agent Robert Mazur, who went undercover in the 1980s to infiltrate the Medellín Cartel led by Pablo Escobar.

Rather than focusing on drug shipments, Mazur targeted the financial infrastructure of the cartel. Starring Bryan Cranston, the film depicts his portrayal of Mazur operating under the alias Bob Musella, a sophisticated financier capable of laundering large sums of money. The narrative also explores the personal toll that undercover work takes on Mazur’s family.

The cast includes John Leguizama as Emir Abreu and Diane Kruger as Kathy Ertz. Bryan Cranston prepared for the role by working with the real Robert Mazur, who also served as an executive producer on the project.
