Nova Gradiška hosts 28th annual charity race for pediatrics department

The 28th annual charity race, ‘Za tvoj korak tisuću naših’ (For your step, a thousand of ours), was held in Nova Gradiška to raise funds for the pediatrics department of the Nova Gradiška General Hospital.

Organized by the association ‘Naša djeca’ in collaboration with the City of Nova Gradiška, local schools, kindergartens, and the local police station, the event brought together participants of all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. Natalija Golovrški, vice president of the organizing association, stated that the decision to support the hospital's pediatrics department stemmed from the association's long-standing connection to the institution.

The Rotary Club of Nova Gradiška provided support for the event's programs and the procurement of medals for the winners. Volunteers and local institutions contributed to the event, which aims to foster community solidarity and provide essential financial support to children in need of medical care.
