Nova Iguaçu hosts Children's Day celebrations and community events

Nova Iguaçu held several community events to celebrate Children's Day. The Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu (HGNI) organized a humanization initiative in its pediatric ward, featuring the character Olaf from ‘Frozen’. The event included gift distributions and celebrations in the playroom and hospital wards to support the mental and physical well-being of young patients.

Additionally, the City Hall of Nova Iguaçu, in partnership with the utility company Light, hosted the second edition of the Arena de Lazer Light. Held at Via Light in the city center, the event offered families sports and recreational activities, environmental education, book distributions, and an entrepreneurship fair. The program also included the ‘Elas Por Elas’ race to support Pink October awareness.
