Nova Lima to host free Sustainable Development Goals event

AngloGold Ashanti and SESI MG are hosting the first event of the ‘Ciclo de Vivências ODS’ in Nova Lima on August 28. This free community program is designed to connect residents, students, and families with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Taking place at the AngloGold Ashanti Environmental Education Center from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the initiative offers educational and cultural activities without the need for prior registration. The program includes workshops primarily aimed at children and features accessibility resources for people with disabilities. The goal is to demonstrate how sustainable development concepts apply to daily life and local community actions. Following the event in Nova Lima, the program is scheduled to continue in other municipalities, such as Raposos.
