Nova Scotia Securities Commission to host investment education event

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission (NSSC) will host an educational program at the Halifax Central Library on October 14, 2026, titled ‘From Stablecoins to Prediction Markets: Evolutions in investing and what it means for investors’.

Designed for both new and experienced investors, the session aims to provide unbiased information regarding emerging financial trends, including prediction markets, event contracts, crypto assets, and stablecoins. The program will also address investment frauds targeting residents of Nova Scotia and offer a Q&A session regarding securities laws and local investing practices.
