Nova Scotia tourism receives $1.2 million federal funding boost

The Canadian federal government has announced a $1.2 million investment to bolster the tourism sector in Nova Scotia. Distributed through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), the funding targets five tourism operators in Cape Breton and two non-profit organizations in Antigonish and Baddeck.

The investment is intended to enhance cultural experiences and attract more visitors to the region. Specific projects include infrastructure upgrades, the development of luxury glass cabins, and improvements to community theatres. Recipients include Bridou Hospitality Incorporated, Whale Cove Beach Resort, Live Life in Tents, Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort, Two Rivers Development Association, Festival Antigonish Society, and Theatre Baddeck Society.
