Nova Twins discuss Bring Me The Horizon collaboration

During the Rock in Rio 2026 festival, bassist Georgia South of the British duo Nova Twins discussed the origins of their collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon. The partnership began during the COVID-19 pandemic when Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes reached out via social media direct messages to invite the duo to participate in the track ‘1x1’ from the 2020 album ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’.

Following the collaboration, Bring Me The Horizon included Nova Twins on their post-pandemic tour. While Bring Me The Horizon performed at the festival's Palco Mundo, they did not perform the song ‘1x1’ during their set, likely due to Nova Twins being scheduled to perform in São Paulo instead of Rio de Janeiro. Nova Twins opened the Palco Mundo stage on the festival's fourth day.
