Novacap expands GDF na Sua Porta works with R$73.9 million investment

Novacap is carrying out and preparing new interventions under the Federal District's "GDF na Sua Porta" programme, allocating a total of R$73,964,479.40. The works cover eight administrative regions – Itapoã, Paranoá, Riacho Fundo II, Samambaia, 26 de Setembro, Ceilândia, Planaltina and the Plano Piloto – and include synthetic‑grass fields, bridge rehabilitation, permanent market construction, sidewalk renovations, drainage improvements, road resurfacing and the installation of curbs and storm‑water infrastructure.

The programme, created by Governor Celina Leão, aims to coordinate multiple government agencies for rapid delivery of infrastructure that addresses daily problems of residents. Novacap’s director‑president Fernando Leite said the initiative enables “closer and more efficient public management,” while director of works André Vaz highlighted the company's technical capacity to handle several types of urban projects simultaneously. Residents in the affected areas have reported reduced water‑logging and enhanced safety after the newly completed works.
