Novak Djokovic advances at Wimbledon 2026 and warns of “Big Brother” surveillance

Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets to reach the third round of Wimbledon 2026, posting scores of 6‑3, 6‑4, 6‑2 (one report gave 6‑4, 6‑3, 6‑2). The 39‑year‑old Serbian champion displayed dominant serving and defensive play, moving him closer to a potential record‑breaking 25th Grand Slam title.

After the match Djokovic criticised the growing presence of cameras on players, saying it feels “like Big Brother” and that the “limit of taste and moderation is crossed” at modern tournaments. He noted cameras now appear in gyms, locker rooms and possibly even showers. Djokovic’s next opponent will be France’s Arthur Rinderknech in the third round.
