Novak Djokovic begins training in Paris for Masters tournament

Novak Djokovic arrived in Paris on Sunday to begin preparations for the Paris Masters at the newly relocated venue, the Defense Arena. This marks his first appearance in the city since 2023 and his first time competing at this specific location following the tournament's move from Bercy.

During his initial practice session on the central court, Djokovic met with Alexander Zverev to congratulate him on becoming the 30th player to reach the ATP number one ranking. Djokovic also conducted an intensive sparring session with American player Brandon Nakashima to prepare for his opening round match against Valentin Vacherot of Monaco.

While the tournament officially begins on Monday, November 2, organizers confirmed that Djokovic will not compete on the first day. His opening match is scheduled for Tuesday, providing his opponent, Vacherot, additional time to travel from Basel to Paris.
