Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic defeated Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas in the second round of Wimbledon, winning in straight sets 6‑3, 6‑4, 6‑2 to move into the third round. Tsitsipas acknowledged he was far from his best form, citing a lack of confidence and concentration.

After the second‑set break, Djokovic pretended to need assistance with a bandage, asking a ball girl to hand him scissors. He then mimicked being cut, startling the young aide before quickly apologising and saying it was a joke meant to relax him. The incident was later posted on Wimbledon’s official Instagram, with Djokovic explaining that such antics arise when he is two sets ahead. He will face French player Arthur Rinderknech in the next round.
