Novak Djokovic earns praise for undefeated streak in Beijing

Tennis star Novak Djokovic has drawn significant acclaim following his performance in Beijing, where he secured his 102nd career title. His achievement is highlighted by an undefeated record at the tournament, maintaining a career score of 34-0 in the Chinese capital.

Former Olympic champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov expressed confidence in Djokovic’s longevity, suggesting the Serbian player will continue competing long enough to participate in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Kafelnikov noted that Djokovic’s ability to remain competitive at the highest level distinguishes him from players who struggle to maintain their form in later career stages.

Professional tennis players Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, and Jennifer Brady also commented on the feat during a podcast discussion. They described his undefeated run in Beijing as ‘incredible’ and ‘unimaginable,’ noting the difficulty of maintaining such a perfect record at any level of professional competition.
