He described Sinner as someone who never settles and possesses an insatiable hunger to improve, a trait Djokovic identified in his own career despite holding 24 Grand Slam titles.

Regarding his own future, Djokovic has addressed speculation about his retirement. Following a semifinal loss at Wimbledon to Sinner, he expressed a desire to compete at the All England Club at least once more, with a potential goal of competing in Los Angeles in 2028.
