Novak Djokovic returns to Beijing for ATP 500 tournament

Novak Djokovic is set to return to Beijing for the ATP 500 tournament after an absence of more than a decade. The 24-time Grand Slam champion will compete in the Chinese capital from September 30 to October 6.

Djokovic enters the tournament seeking to regain momentum following an early exit at the US Open against Mariano Navone. He joins a highly competitive field that includes world number one Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Flavio Cobolli.

Historically, the Beijing tournament has been one of the most successful stops in Djokovic's career. Between 2009 and 2015, he maintained a perfect record of 29 wins in 29 matches and secured six titles at the event.
