Novaland sells 11,266 billion VND in assets to address debt

Novaland Group has successfully sold four assets totaling 11,266 billion VND as part of a broader 15,617 billion VND asset divestment plan to meet debt obligations. The company is also in the process of offering five additional assets for sale, having already signed principle contracts for assets worth 3,931 billion VND and received a purchase offer for another asset valued at 420 billion VND.

As of June 30, 2026, Novaland’s total principal debt from loans and bonds stood at 72,911 billion VND. The group reported that it has been unable to settle 16,716 billion VND in matured loans and bonds, though creditors have agreed to extend 3,244 billion VND of those obligations. The company is currently negotiating to restructure the remaining overdue amounts.

Auditors from Moore AISC noted that Novaland’s net cash flow from operating activities was negative during the first half of 2026. Due to unpaid short-term obligations and liquidity challenges, the auditors highlighted significant doubts regarding the group’s ability to continue as a going concern.
