Novalife to premiere documentary series featuring Marlee Matlin and Liza Minnelli

Novalife is scheduled to premiere a series of documentaries titled ‘Women’s Stories’ throughout October.

On October 6, the platform will air ‘Marlee Matlin: Not alone anymore’, a documentary covering the career and activism of the American actress and author. The film explores her journey from her historic Oscar win for ‘Children of a Lesser God’ to her advocacy for deaf representation in Hollywood.

On October 20, the documentary ‘Liza: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story’ will be released, focusing on Liza Minnelli. The film uses rare footage and testimonies to examine her career and her relationship with the legacy of her mother, Judy Garland.

Other scheduled programming includes re-broadcasts of ‘A Conversation with Romy’ on October 13 and ‘Shocking Schiaparelli’ on October 27.
