Novara FC and UPO sign five-year medical training agreement

Novara Football Club, the Università del Piemonte Orientale (UPO), and the Maggiore della Carità Hospital in Novara have entered into a five-year academic agreement focused on advanced medical training.

The partnership is designed to support specialists in Orthopedics and Traumatology by allowing them to work alongside professional athletes. This arrangement provides trainees with direct field experience in sports traumatology, complementing their clinical studies. While the activities are not clinical-assistential in nature, they will facilitate data collection for scientific research and academic theses.

Under the agreement, which is valid until December 31, 2030, Novara FC will provide necessary facilities and access to its medical staff for tutoring. The partnership also includes rigorous protocols regarding insurance coverage, workplace safety, and health surveillance for the medical personnel involved.
