Novara political leaders begin planning for 2027 elections

Political preparations for the 2027 local elections in Novara have commenced. Massimo Giordano, the provincial secretary of Lega, announced that the center-right coalition must work toward finding a shared solution to succeed Alessandro Canelli, who has served as mayor for eleven years.

During the “Lega delle idee” event, Forza Italia expressed strong support for the coalition. However, Giordano noted that the transition following Canelli’s term will not be easy and emphasized the need for unity among allies to maintain their current political standing in the region.
