Novara province reports local developments and sporting achievements

Various local developments have been reported in the province of Novara. In sports, swimmer Emma Crepaldi of Libertas Nuoto Novara secured two gold medals and one silver medal at a competition in Rome, winning the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke titles.

In Lesa, a new illuminated fountain has been inaugurated on Lake Maggiore, featuring a water jet reaching heights of 20 meters. Meanwhile, in Arona, volunteers are working on beaches where the dry dock has become overgrown with grass due to lack of water inflow.

Other regional updates include a solar eclipse expected to obscure 93.5% of the sun in the Novara area, a community event in Pella to fund the restoration of the Sant’Albino organ, and the announcement of the ‘Autumn at the Sesia 2026’ program in Parco delle Lame.
