Novartis and Abu Dhabi Department of Health activate clinical trials hub

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and Novartis have announced the activation of the Abu Dhabi Clinical Trials Hub. This milestone, announced during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026, utilizes Novartis’ global Phase 3 programmes to conduct research in neuroscience, oncology, immunology, and cardiovascular disease.

The initiative builds upon a Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2024. The collaboration aims to link Abu Dhabi’s clinical research capabilities with international development programmes, providing local investigators and eligible patients with access to innovative research. Efforts will focus on strengthening research-site preparedness and improving patient identification and referral pathways.
