Novellara theft: Woman and accomplice accused of stealing jewelry and using victim's debit card
In Novellara, a 30-year-old woman from Turin and a 40-year-old man have been reported to the Reggio Emilia Prosecutor's Office following a residential theft. The incident occurred when a man fell asleep while hosting a female friend at his home.
During his sleep, the woman allegedly stole family jewelry belonging to the victim's mother and a debit card. Investigations by the Carabinieri revealed that the woman, aided by an accomplice, used the stolen card to perform cash withdrawals from ATMs and make various purchases at local shops.
