Novi Beograd water polo club qualifies for Champions League

The Novi Beograd water polo club has secured its place in the Champions League following a successful qualification tournament in Romania. The team guaranteed their advancement to the elite competition after defeating the German club Spandau in the second round.

Earlier in the tournament, Novi Beograd defeated Strasbourg with a score of 15:12. Key contributors to the victory included Vasilije Martinović and Viktor Urošević, who each scored four goals, while Miroslav Perković contributed three.

Following this qualification, Novi Beograd joins Radnički Kragujevac in the group stage. Their final match in the qualification group against the host team, Oradea, will not impact their advancement. The Champions League final tournament is scheduled to be held in Belgrade.
