Novi Ligure street art project promotes gender equality

The “Walls of Equality” project is currently underway in Novi Ligure, utilizing urban street art to promote social inclusion and gender equality in sports. The initiative features a public painting performance by international street artists Buff Monster from the USA and Milan-based Mr. Wany, who are working alongside students from Liceo Amaldi.

The mural, characterized by a vibrant pop style, focuses on female figures and diversity regarding age, ability, and origin. The artwork aims to represent sports as a universal right accessible to everyone, including women, people with disabilities, the elderly, and those of foreign origin.

The project involves the courtyard of Liceo Amaldi on via Mameli and the boundary wall of Circolo ILVA. An official inauguration is scheduled for October 2, 2026, at the Museo dei Campionissimi in Novi Ligure.
