Novi Ligure to host presentation of “Il Piemonte delle donne” book

The book “Il Piemonte delle donne. Storie invisibili di donne straordinarie” will be presented on October 24, 2026, at the City Council Hall of Novi Ligure. Promoted by the Piedmont Regional Commission for Equal Opportunities, the volume highlights women who have made significant impacts on the region.

A central figure in the presentation is Teresina Repetto, who in 1946 became the first woman elected to the Novi Ligure City Council. The book details her institutional role and her social commitment, including her efforts to assist families from Southern Italy and her support for children affected by the Polesine floods.
