Novi Marof allocates 86,100 euros to local community projects

The City of Novi Marof has allocated 86,100 euros from its municipal budget to fund various programs and projects of public interest. Contracts were signed on Thursday with representatives of the selected beneficiaries.

A total of 40 applications were submitted for the 2026 funding cycle, with 38 meeting the required criteria and being evaluated based on quality. Individual grants range from 300 to 4,000 euros, depending on the specific program, project, and its assessed significance.

The funds are intended to support activities that improve citizens' quality of life, preserve cultural heritage and traditions, promote social inclusion, develop sports and recreation, and protect the environment. Mayor Siniša Jenkač stated that the city aims to partner with local associations to support initiatives that enrich the daily lives of residents.
