Novi Pazar police uncover sexual exploitation of a minor

Police in Novi Pazar have uncovered a case of sexual exploitation involving a 16-year-old girl. Following a routine patrol, officers identified the minor and learned she had been visiting a 39-year-old man, whom she identified as her boyfriend.

Investigations suggest the man, identified as D. E., allegedly coerced the girl into prostitution for his acquaintances over the past year. Authorities have also arrested the girl's 55-year-old mother, M. K., on charges of neglect and abuse of a minor for failing to supervise her daughter.

The girl's mother and the 39-year-old suspect are in custody, while the minor has been interviewed. A criminal complaint was also filed against an 18-year-old male, S. R., regarding the exploitation of a minor for pornography. The Center for Social Work in Raška has taken custody of the girl.
