Balkans report multiple fatal accidents and violent crimes

Multiple fatal and violent incidents have been reported across the Balkan region involving traffic accidents and criminal acts.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, two separate fatal accidents occurred in Banja Luka and Bosanska Gradiška, resulting in two deaths. Additionally, a collision involving three cars in Čule left one person seriously injured.

In Montenegro, police in Rožaje arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of intentionally causing a crash after a verbal dispute; he tested positive for cocaine. Another individual was arrested for threatening someone with a firearm during a traffic conflict.

In Croatia, a 27-year-old man was arrested for the suspected murder of a 71-year-old after a physical altercation following a traffic dispute in Komin. In Karlovac, two quad drivers were involved in accidents while under high levels of alcohol intoxication.

In Serbia, a suspect pleaded guilty to two robberies in Belgrade, one of which targeted Danijel Sinani, the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy. In Novi Pazar, a driver was detained following a fatal accident involving a truck.

In Podgorica, a 41-year-old man was arrested for allegedly robbing two taxi drivers at knifepoint.
